Women’s Fund of Central Indiana, a Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF) fund, announced today the distribution of more than $450,000 in grants to support women and girl-serving organizations in the Central Indiana community.
Some of the organizations that received grants include:
Pretty Passionate Hands Childcare ($25,000)—Received operating support to continue providing support, mentorship and guidance to teen mothers. This organization provides financial awareness through educational workshops, village support, and mentorship. Learn more.
Women4Change ($25,000)— Received operating support to continue creating a future of equity for Hoosiers. It provides civic learning and equips Hoosiers to engage in democracy and advocacy to achieve better outcomes in health, economic stability, and personal safety for women in Indiana. Learn more.
A Seat at the Table ($25,000)— Received funding to support The Safe Space 2.0, which provides programming for teen girls. A Seat At The Table’s mission is to help minority women and girls overcome barriers that limit access to leadership roles within corporations, government entities, entrepreneurship, and the community.
